Mozart's Revolver
Avant Garde / Folk???

The remains of several Grant County based musical projects; Mozart's Revolver is product of artistic evolution expanding throughout a variety of past genres / subgenres. However, we are somewhat rooted in Folk, but with a hint of Technical / Progressive / Experimental flavor. The goal is the abolition of musical boundaries from the perspective of folk musicians. We are slowly getting closer to the middle of a new decade and genre flexibility is being tested from all sides of music stylistically resulting in progress. We personally see, as a musicians, a lack of experimental edge and willingness to incorporate new elements to this style leaving it unoriginal, tasteless, repetitive, bland, dull, boring etc. As we know we will most likely have a crowd of pissed off people for our next comment, we feel it is still worth stating. We feel as if Folk music in general isn't too incredibly far from slipping into the same category as country music in the way that it dishes out the same chord progressions, time signatures, and lyrical base and it almost solely relies on melodies which are all reminiscent of other songs, and those songs comparable to others. We’re here in high hopes that we can inspire. We’re attempting show people that there still is creativity in the world and we haven’t quite run out of places to go or boundaries to break down.
